Data Deletion

tl;dr - email data@sleepytime.cc from the address you contacted us with (or include the device identifier you want removed) and we will delete your data within 30 days.

How to request deletion

To request deletion of your data, send an email to data@sleepytime.cc with the subject line “Data deletion request”. To help us locate and verify your data, please include:

  • The email address you previously used to contact sleepytime (if any).
  • Any device or installation identifier you would like us to remove, if known.
  • A short description of what you would like deleted (for example, “all data”, “my support emails”, or “my early access signup”).

What gets deleted

On receipt of a verified request we will delete any personally identifiable information associated with you, including support and feedback correspondence, early access signups, and any device-level identifiers we can match to your request. Anonymous, aggregated analytics data that cannot be tied back to you is not individually deletable, but is automatically purged or further de-identified on the retention schedule described in our Privacy Policy.

How long it takes

We will acknowledge your request within a few business days and complete verified deletions within 30 days. If we need additional information to verify your identity we will contact you at the email address you wrote in from.

Stopping further collection

You can stop further data collection at any time by uninstalling the sleepytime app from your device. Uninstalling the app does not automatically delete data already collected — please send a deletion request if you want existing data removed as well.
